JPR-Communications - Smart communicating for successful relationships
Cross-Cultural Communication Coaching It is fear, not the other person, that is the enemy. James Hollis

The need to acquire global, cross-cultural people skills has never been greater and will only increase in the future.

We are all becoming global managers, even those who stay at home have to think in global terms as they interact in multicultural business situations.

Appreciating different business practices, avoiding stereotyping and understanding how you are viewed by other cultures are all integral factors in ensuring business success.

As I work with you to develop cross-cultural competency, you will learn how to:

  • understand what culture is, how cultures vary, and how culture affects business behavior.
  • develop the ability to pay attention to the non-verbal cues and rituals in cross-cultural situations.
  • acquire the communication skills not only to survive without difficulty or embarrassment in a multicultural business environment, but to pursue your goals in this environment with the confidence needed for success.

Business success ultimately is grounded on trust.  How we decide whom we can trust and what trustworthy signs we look for in another person are greatly conditioned by culture.
